The room was clean, BUT the shower looked grubby and didn't have hot water. We also had to wait ages outside before someone bothered to let us in. Since I expected more for my stay, a complimentary upgrade woudl ve been appropriate. I almost thought about giving a good review but just couldn't.

Deluxe hotel, facilities were new and the staff were great. The room was neat and modern and the bed there was comfy. The location turned out to be great and particularly good. A bus stop was minutes from the property.

bus stop access, convenient travel options, proximity to Portobello Beach
The check-in process felt disorganized!!! The bathroom definitely needs attention with peeling paint and hot water issues!!! Add some soundproofing to the rooms, as noise from the kitchen disrupted my sleep experience!!!

Faced delays at check-in, which left me waiting outside for a bit while the front door remained locked. The mattress was a serious issue-springs digging in all night left me feeling like I'd been in a space battle. The bathroom had peeling paint, a lack of hot water, and no place to hang towels, made life less convenient. Plus, road noise from the front rooms made it hard to catch some solid sleep. At the price, I expected more comfort and amenities, especially considering it was a trek from central attractions.

Our visit was EXCELLENT, perfect for us. Everything was brand-new during 3 days. Enjoyed its great location close enough to a nice cafe, public transport, and the seafront. the room was cosy, warm, and had central heating. An iron and coffee/tea making equipment were provided. the mountain view was a nice bonus.
